In 2015, Claude left his native Congo to settle in the Netherlands. At that time, he did not speak a word of Dutch and didn't make music. “Everyone in the family made music. One could sing, the other could rap, but I wasn't really into it. I also lacked self-confidence, because they sounded so good. But later in Holland I thought: why not?" In 2019, Claude decided to participate in The Voice Kids. He auditioned with the song Papaoutai by Stromae and all the coaches turned their chairs! Finally, Claude made it to the Battles of The Voice.
With his first single Ladada (My Last Word), he delivered one of the biggest Dutch-speaking hits of all time, contrary to what the title suggests. In a short time, he gained nominations for the Netherlands' most important music awards, as well as places on the country's biggest stages. Claude is the new pop sensation among our northern neighbors and step by step he is conquering the rest of Europe.
