1. Application of the Terms and Conditions
Anyone purchasing a ticket through De Roma vzw declares that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions. De Roma reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The amended version will be published on our website and will apply from that moment on, unless otherwise stated.
2. Event Organization
De Roma organizes concerts and events in its own name. We also collaborate with external artists and organizations. In such cases, we are jointly responsible for the course of the event.
In exceptional cases, De Roma acts as a service provider and rents the venue to an external organizer. In such cases, the responsibility for changes to the date, location, program, or cancellation lies with the external organizer, and De Roma cannot be held responsible for these.
3. Cancellation or rescheduling
If a concert or event is canceled or rescheduled, De Roma will notify ticket holders by email. This communication offers three options:
- Keeping the ticket (if rescheduled),
- Exchanging the ticket for a voucher,
- Getting a refund.
If you do not receive an email, please contact balie@deroma.be, call the ticket line: ticketlijn or visit the ticket counter: ticketbalie.
Refunds are possible up to two months after the official announcement of the cancellation or rescheduling.
4. Ticket Issues
Loss or technical issues with tickets must be reported no later than the day before the event via balie@deroma.be.
5. Payment and Reservations
Tickets will only be sent after correct payment has been received. If payment is not made on time, the reservation will be cancelled.
The person placing the order is responsible for payment, even if the tickets are intended for third parties.
6. Resale of tickets
Tickets may not be resold through other channels, except through Ticketswap. De Roma works structurally with Ticketswap. Anyone who is unable to attend an event may resell their ticket through that platform.
Tickets that have not been purchased through official sales channels may be refused at the entrance.
7. Personal data
De Roma processes personal data in accordance with its privacy policy, available at www.deroma.be/privacy.
Data will not be shared with third parties unless the data subject gives explicit permission.
8. Copyright
All De Roma products, such as tickets, merchandise, or logos, remain our property. This means that you may not copy, reproduce, or use them for other purposes without permission. This applies to all forms and methods of copying.
9. Access to the venue
De Roma is a community theatre with a warm heart. We want to be an open space in the city where everyone feels welcome and safe. We ask you to respect this.
Anyone who does not respect these conditions, disrupts the atmosphere, or endangers safety may be denied access to the venue or ejected. In that case, you will not receive a refund for your ticket.
You are not permitted to bring your own food or drinks into the venue. You may not consume anything you bring with you during the concert or event.
Please leave your belongings safely. Large items such as backpacks, suitcases, or folding bicycles must be stored in the cloakroom.
10. Image and sound recordings
Professional photo, video, or sound recordings are prohibited during a performance. Use of a smartphone for personal use is permitted.
Press photographers must request permission in advance via pers@deroma.be.
11. Liability
De Roma makes every effort to provide accurate information on its website but cannot be held liable for damages resulting from errors or omissions, except in cases of proven intent or gross negligence.
12. Force majeure
De Roma is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to force majeure, such as (but not limited to) strikes, natural disasters, technical malfunctions or government measures. In such cases, De Roma vzw does not have to prove that the problem was unexpected or unavoidable.
13. Disputes
In the event of disputes, the courts of Antwerp have exclusive jurisdiction. Belgian law shall apply.
