Douglas Firs' passion for American roots music and indie folk is evident once again on Happy Pt. 2. Together with his brother Sem, he headed for L.A. to mix the record with Kevin Ratterman (My Morning Jacket, Ray Lamontagne). The result is Happy Pt. 2, synonymous with joie de vivre and adventure.
On stage, Douglas Firs is accompanied by the finest musicians, such as Simon Casier (bass, vocals), his brother Sem (keyboards, vocals), Laurens Billiet (drums, vocals) and, for this concert, two other musicians: Bart Vervaeck and Manon Gögös will join them. They realize Gertjan's crazy dream by adding a pedal steel and a saxophone to the orchestra. It's sure to be an unforgettable evening!
