Elis Floreen is a Belgian-Dutch singer-songwriter from the green village of Eksel in Limburg. What began at the piano as a child grew into a colourful blend of styles: alt-pop, seventies psychedelia, Andean music, new wave, MPB and film music. In her songs she explores literature, folklore, travel, symbolism and personal stories, always with that touch of magical realism she cherishes.

After earlier projects as Audri and Marijke Florien, and appearances at Sound Track and De Nieuwe Lichting, Elis is now working on her debut album The House (2026) on the Ghent-based label Unday. The album is inspired by her years in Copenhagen and the international community around her. Expect music buzzing with imagination, shaped by influences such as Paul Simon, Caroline Polachek, Kate Bush and Milton Nascimento.
