Fomo movie, a project by Mooov, travels to faraway places in search of the most unique stories. De Roma joins the project and every month they screen a Fomo movie.

Ali and his wife Aysel live in a small village surrounded by a large lake and immense reed beds. They have to work hard to make ends meet. On top of that, they are exploited and mistreated by mafia bosses. Ali starts looking for ways to escape the misery and tries to smuggle reeds illegally. A risky business, not without danger.

The images of the landscapes of water and reeds are spectacular and make the environment as important as the characters. The virtuosity of the camera manipulation makes the reed fields look like a labyrinthine and suffocating character, in the merciless struggle between good and evil, whose boundaries become increasingly blurred.
