For years, Zwangere Guy has been a dominant force on the Belgian scene and, increasingly, in the Netherlands as well. As a member of STIKSTOF and later as a solo artist, Gorik van Oudheusden has built a body of work defined by personal storytelling, sharp observations, and a deep connection to the city where he grew up.

With Wie is Guy? (2019), he broke through to a wider audience. On tracks like “Gorik Pt. 1”, he offered an unfiltered glimpse into his childhood and family life. That same honesty remained at the heart of later albums such as BRUTAAL and BRUTXXL. On his latest album, Dit is Guy, he turns his gaze inward once again. Released on his daughter’s first birthday, the record explores themes of fatherhood, change, and personal growth. Songs like “Gorik Pt. 2” and “Leven Beter” reveal an artist who keeps digging deeper, without searching for easy answers.

Following sold-out arena shows at ING Arena and Forest National, Zwangere Guy returns to the stage in 2026, this time at De Roma.
