Wij nodigen u uit om samen met uitzonderlijke artiesten het Amazigh Nieuwjaar 2974 te vieren, waarvan sommigen voor de eerste keer in België zullen optreden. Elk jaar vieren de Imazighen het nieuwe jaar met Assugas Amaynu, wat het begin markeert van een voorspoedig jaar na een winter vol overvloedige regen. Voor deze speciale gelegenheid hebben we een spectaculaire line-up samengesteld die de Riffijnse cultuur in de schijnwerpers zet. Lina Charif, Agraf Band en Dj Ftoch zullen optreden in een eclectische mix van moderne hedendaagse muziek en traditionele Riffijnse melodieën.

Op het programma:

• Lina Charif: Een geëngageerde jonge Rifiaanse Amazigh-artiest, bekend om haar sterke, intense stem. Begeleid door haar gezelschap dat de ritmes van de Bendir "Adjun" en de gitaar synchroniseert, terwijl ze liedjes uitvoert uit het mondelinge muzikale erfgoed van de Rif "Izran".

• Agraf Band: Voor het eerst in België presenteert deze groep uit Al Hoceima een onvergetelijke muzikale ervaring. Hun eclectische mix van moderne hedendaagse muziek en traditionele Rif-melodieën, ondersteund door de charismatische leider Nasre-Eddine El Ouaazizi, biedt een unieke interpretatie van de rijke traditie van de Amazigh-muziek. Agraf Band behandelt ook sociale kwesties en richt de blik op een positieve toekomst met boodschappen over vrijheid, vrede, liefde en broederschap, waardoor hoop en troost worden geboden in deze turbulente tijden.

• DJ Ftoch: Gevestigd in Brussel en lid van het Hishek Bishek Collective, heeft als missie om SWANA/MENA-muziek op de voorgrond te plaatsen en de dansvloeren veiliger en inclusiever te maken. Zij smelt verschillende genres samen en heeft een diepe liefde voor warme bassen en synthesizers, zowel uit Tamazgha als daarbuiten.

We invite you to celebrate the Amazigh New Year 2974 with exceptional artists, some of whom will perform for the first time in Belgium. Each year, the Amazighs celebrate the new year with Assugas Amaynu, marking the beginning of a prosperous year after a winter filled with abundant rain.

For this special occasion, we have curated a spectacular lineup that highlights Rif culture. Lina Charif, Agraf Band, and Dj Ftoch will perform in an eclectic mix of contemporary modern music and traditional Rif melodies.

On the program:

• Lina Charif: A committed young Rifian Amazigh artist, renowned for her strong, intense voice. Accompanied by her band who synchronize the rhythms of the Bendir "Adjun" and the guitar, performing songs from the Rifain Izran oral musical heritage.

• Agraf Band: Presenting for the first time in Belgium, this group from Al Hoceima offers an unforgettable musical experience. Their eclectic mix of contemporary modern music and traditional Rif melodies, supported by the charismatic leader Nasre-Eddine El Ouaazizi, provides a unique interpretation of the rich tradition of Amazigh music. Agraf Band also addresses social issues, directing focus towards a positive future with messages of freedom, peace, love, and brotherhood, offering hope and comfort in these turbulent times.

• DJ Ftoch: Based in Brussels and a member of the Hishek Bishek Collective, she has a mission to forefront SWANA/MENA music and make dancefloors safer and more inclusive. She blends various genres and has a deep love for warm bass and synthesizers, both from Tamazgha and beyond.
