De Roma breekt uit! Due to the installation of a new parquet floor, our venue will not reopen until Friday, September 26. Therefore, we are temporarily organising a series of surprising concerts and other activities on location in Troubleyn: Pastorijstraat 23, 2060 Antwerp.

Two years ago, Brussels artist Adja released her debut EP, IRONEYE, with the single Told You So, which has since reached over 1.8 million streams. In spring 2025, her long-awaited debut album, Golden Retrieve Her, will be released (Sdban Ultra). She will celebrate this release with a sold-out concert at our friends at AB, and in September she will be coming to us at the Troubleyn venue.

Golden Retrieve Her, co-written with her partner in crime and guitarist Alexis Nootens, is composed of 11 interconnected stories that explore the impact of capitalist society on our most intimate moments. Adja combines her talents as a singer, theater maker, and performer, using the power of her voice and storytelling to address profound themes with humor and generosity.

With a background in theater and jazz, and passion for R&B, soul, and gospel, Adja has developed a warm, rich, and organic musical style, influenced by D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Lauryn Hill. With Golden Retrieve Her, Adja proves that she not only has a powerful voice, but is also a force of nature, combining her diverse talents into compelling live performances.
