In July, the famous actress Alice Toen celebrated her hundredth birthday. She appropriately did so by recording her very first single - after a singing career of one century. Together with a number of renowned artists, Alice recorded the song Wat een weelde.
Alice will present her first full-length album on the 6th of December: De Eeuw van Toen. The Flemish Johnny Cash or Chavela Vargas? No, simply our very own Alice!
Together with several special guests, this grande dame will present her CD with songs from Jacques Brel and Hank Williams, lyrics from Federico Garcia Lorca and Dylan Thomas.
After the premiere at the KVS in Brussels, Alice is also coming to De Roma for a heart-warning concert.
