De Roma and jonnydepony invite you to the exclusive premiere of BOHO, a brand new, sparkling series about Kima, Nawal and Alex, three millennials from Borgerhout who are each searching for happiness and fun in their own way.

BOHO is a six-part feel-good series from Streamz  about friendship, chasing dreams and the search for what you really want. It is a quirky ode to female solidarity, especially when life takes an unexpected turn.

Kima is an eternal dreamer with a head full of ideas. She throws herself into a new ambition without any real plan, but along the way she is confronted with the expectations of her critical mother. Still, she is never alone: her sister Nawal and bestie Alex are her constant anchors in the daily storm, the two people who always keep her grounded.

The idea comes from Abbie Boutkabout (her debut). She wrote the screenplay together with Zita Theunynck (De Club, Arcadia) and Philippe De Schepper (De big fuck-up, Eigen Kweek). Olympia Allaert (Season of Sex, Panna) is directing this production by jonnydepony. The score was composed by Lara Chedraoui of Intergalactic Lovers and Patrick Van Neck.

In addition to Serine Ayari (Kassa Kassa, Holy Rosita), the cast includes Ikram Aoulad (Kameleon, Arcadia) and hip-hop artist Miss Angel (Dancing with the Stars), who makes her acting debut here.
On 10 February, we will be screening the first two episodes of BOHO in preview at De Roma in the presence of the creators and cast.

Kawtar Ehlalouch from MNM will host the evening. She will talk to the screenwriters, director and the three leading actresses.
We will end with a party in the foyer with DJ Cheb Runner, who also features on the series' soundtrack.
