Cat Clyde is a singer-songwriter from rural Ontario, Canada. With her blend of soulful blues, country and intimate folk, she strikes a chord from the very first notes. She proved this last year with a sold-out concert at AMOR. In 2026, she will captivate the De Roma audience with her latest album, Down Rounder.

On this album, Cat Clyde reveals herself to be a talented singer-songwriter. She expresses her search for a familiar place in a world dominated by uncertainty and conflict. Her songs reveal influences from Patsy Cline, Lead Belly, Karen Dalton and Bobbie Gentry, among others. For the production, Cat Clyde called on Tony Berg, who took her to the legendary Sound City Studios in Los Angeles. The result is both lively and intense, with Clyde's voice effortlessly shifting from country to fragile melancholy.

Down Rounder is about self-discovery, connection with nature, change and love. After millions of streams of her previous releases, the latest album is the work of a fully realized artist who invites her listeners to immerse themselves in her unique musical universe.
