The Wallflowers
The Wallflowers
The legendary American rock band The Wallflowers is finally returning to Belgium after nearly three decades. Frontman Jakob Dylan, son of Bob Dylan, and his bandmates are gearing up for a unique concert in which they will perform two iconic albums in full: Bringing Down the Horse by The Wallflowers, and Long After Dark by music legend Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
Bringing Down the Horse celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The album went quadruple platinum worldwide and features timeless hits such as One Headlight, 6th Avenue Heartache, The Difference, and Three Marlenas. During their concert at De Roma, The Wallflowers will perform the entire album — in its original sequence.
In the second part of the show, The Wallflowers pay tribute to one of America’s greatest rock icons: Tom Petty. Together with The Heartbreakers, Petty influenced generations of musicians and countless artists, including Taylor Swift, The War on Drugs, Kings of Leon, and Vampire Weekend. The Wallflowers will play Petty’s 1982 album Long After Dark from start to finish.
Get ready for a truly special night. The Wallflowers’ last Belgian performance dates back to 1997, making this concert a rare and exceptional opportunity to experience the band live once again.
