Dull Boy Johnny is an Antwerp band composed of 3 permanent members: Rik De Bal (vocals), Jan Vanhamel (guitar) and Nard Houdmeyers (bass). For the live performance of their sparkling songs, the trio will be joined by Cas Kinnaer (ILA) on drums and Dries Meeus (Jaguar Jaguar) on piano. 

Their cinematic approach to music always puts you in a very special mood. An erotic scene from the 70s, a beach party in the Bahamas, a chase in the Wild West... Dull Boy Johnny covers it all. Despite this versatility, there are many recurring elements that define Johnny's refreshing sound. Main Features? Catchy high vocals contrasting with a sensual baritone voice, carried by a groovy bass rhythm. 

Their debut album consists of a double EP and seems to be a soundtrack for your own imagination. In addition to Fictional Love Scene, Vol. 1, already available and a perfect taste of what this ambitious group wants to express, Tropical Swing Club is ready to be introduced to you. To write this EP, the group went to Ponza (Italy). The southern character of the island clearly influenced their songs. Expect a sensual and exotic journey where you can hear the sea and spot tropical birds.
