ILA is a Belgian alternative band led by Turkish-Belgian singer-songwriter Ilayda Cicek, assisted by Sam Smeets on guitar/bass and Cas Kinnaer on drums. Together, they seamlessly fuse Turkish and rock influences to create a unique and dynamic sound.

The group gained national recognition by winning De Nieuwe Lichting, a prestigious music competition organized by Studio Brussel.  They broke through into the mainstream with their hit single Leave Me Dry, which remained at number one on the De Afrekening chart for no less than three weeks. With their second single, they also reached the top 5, thus confirming their prominent position on the Belgian music scene.
