After the success of "Le Grand Bain" the director Gilles Lellouche made his first appearance in the official competition of the Cannes Film Festival with L'amour ouf (Ouf = mad in the Verlan street language). With a 5-star cast bringing together (among others) Adèle Exarchopoulos, François Civil, Alain Chabat, Benoît Poelvoorde, Vincent Lacoste, Jean-Pascal Zadi, Raphaël Quenard, and an irresistible soundtrack filled with hits of the '80s and '90s. An exuberant film, sometimes a little kitsch, but whose audacity can only be encouraged.
