The last few years have been a real whirlwind for pioneering country star Lainey Wilson. As a result, the Grammy-winning singer quickly rose to the absolute top of the country world. Now she is looking forward to leaving Nashville to present her brand new album Whirlwind to her Belgian fans at De Roma.
Lainey Wilson is the rising star in country music! Earlier this year, her album Bell Bottom Country won the Grammy for Best Country Album and she was awarded Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Wilson has already scored seven No.1 hits in her career, including Watermelon Moonshine and the twice Platinum-winning Heart Like A Truck.
After winning the Grammy Award with her previous album, her fans did not have to wait long for a new masterpiece. At the end of August her latest album Whirlwind was released. The album is a bold and honest exploration of the 32-year-old country singer's new life. On the one hand, she describes the power and joy of travelling the world with her music and on the other, her desire to live a quiet life and settle down. And although she doesn't yet know which side will win, she is ready to take the journey and share it with her fans.
