The legendary New York band Living Colour is coming to De Roma! Since its formation in 1984 by master guitarist Vernon Reid, the band has managed to impress time and again with their dynamic live shows. None other than Mick Jagger discovered the band and produced two songs on their first album Vivid in 1988, which contributed to Living Colour's big breakthrough. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, they scored hits with Glamour Boys, Love Rears Its Ugly Head and Solace Of You.
Their unique sound, a combination of heavy metal, funk, jazz, hip-hop, punk and alternative rock, earned them two Grammys and an iconic status. With hits like Cult of Personality and Love Rears Its Ugly Head, they conquered the charts in the late 1980s. After a break-up period, Living Colour reunited in 2002 to the delight of many fans. Besides Vernon Reid, the band consists of singer Corey Glover, drummer Will Calhoun and bassist Doug Wimbish, who you may also know from collaborations with legends such as Madonna and The Rolling Stones.
