Memoir of a Snail

+ short film Wander to Wonder

Grace, a snail enthusiast, and her brother Gilbert are orphaned after their father's death. Separated from her brother, Grace withdraws more and more into herself. Between misfortune and loneliness, she finds hope again thanks to Pinky, an eccentric octogenarian, who shows her the beauty of life.

Oscar winner Adam Elliot returns after 15 years with a new stop-motion masterpiece. A film about isolation, suffering and grief. But also about the beauty of life, guinea pigs and the importance of not giving up hope, even in the darkest days.

Before Memoir of a Snail, we will screen the Oscar-nominated short film Wander to Wonder (15 min).
