By popular demand, Naima Joris presents ‘Enjoy The Silence’: well-known and lesser-known songs of various origins that she once sang behind closed doors and later covered via facebook. This is how she broke through during the lockdown in 2020. 

She is the daughter of multi-instrumentalist and jazz musician Chris Joris and was named after John Coltrane's song. Naima Joris never aspired to go on a stage. She learned early on that music is made with the heart and can be done just as well at home. Thus, her talent remained hidden for years until one day she decided to share a song on facebook.

While everyone's career was on hold because of the corona pandemic, Naima Joris broke through at 39 after posting ‘Saudade’. She soon got a record deal and released 3 records in just 2 years. In autumn 2022, she released her debut album While The Moon. For the next step, she returned to basics. 

Accompanied by notorious guitarist Vitja Pauwels, she performs the covers that once brought her healing and invites you to share this experience. As always, she bends the songs of others to her feelings, zooming in, enlarging and slowing them down, facilitating you to make a deeper contact with their meaning.
