The unique sound of Noordkaap's live performances, which caused a furor in the 1990s with more than a dozen hits, is still as powerful as ever, almost a quarter century after the Dutch-language group with singer Stijn Meuris ended. Classics such as Panamarenko, Een Heel Klein Beetje Oorlog, Wat Is Kunst, Satelliet Suzy, Druk In Leuven and national heritage Ik Hou Van U ensured that several generations of fans also felt engaged and moved at recent concerts.
In the fall of 2024, Noordkaap will embark on their WINTERTHUR theatrical tour for seated audiences with another kind of concerts. They will present a set of songs which were sometimes left out during past concerts (you could call it a rich body of work), a renewed setting and experience: electric but different... and at least as intense.
