Untold Asian Stories and Spreken is Goud by De Roma invite you to a vibrant evening celebrating Asian identity, queer joy and the power of drag.
Expect an unforgettable night of singing, dancing, spoken word and fabulous performances by two of the Belgian drag scene’s most exciting talents: Paula Roïd and Puki Harana.
Alongside their performances, Paula and Puki will join us for a conversation about drag as an art form, its inherent political power, and how it can become a way of exploring, reclaiming and celebrating Asian heritage.
At the heart of the evening are self-discovery, connection and pride as protest. Slaysian Night is centred around Asian communities, but it is not exclusive to Asian diaspora. Allies are warmly welcome too!
This program is in English.
