Soft Boy came from Xander Hamelton's Bedroom Pop Project, but with the help of a colorful group of friends, the project outgrew the bedroom. At the beginning of 2023, they made a big impression at the We Are Open festival, after which they spent the rest of the year touring Flemish stages to fine-tune their live show. In 2024, they went even further and Soft Boy presented the album Always Hungry. With Niels Hendrix (Fence, Shovels), he produced a fabulous album of ten power pop songs in the Fons Records studio. 

Gourmets may detect a pinch of Beach Boys and a few notes of Velvet Underground alongside more contemporary influences. Balanced harmonies reflect how love can be sweet and sour, offbeat and playful grooves dance from ears to legs.
