Circus and De Roma: a successful marriage. This spring, we are again putting a stand in the heart of our venue and opting for smaller-scale and more intimate. Two acts of half an hour each, but no less high-quality and breathtaking.
Using a spiral, TeaTime Company's three artists explore themes of influence, power, flow and friction. The spiral, no less than 2.5m high, allows them to push their limits. Where a leap can suspend time and a fall can last forever. Just as natural forces cause vibrations and ripples in water, our choices cause ripples in our relationships, thoughts and experiences.
In the performance Riple, the performers face constant challenges. They are forced to anticipate and react to the movement of the metal wheel, which sometimes seems to obey and at other times seems to have a will of its own. At any moment, the situation can change due to an unexpected movement of a spiral and performer.
Duo Nu is an acrobatic duo made up of Korneel Willem and Lisa Patoor. Together they create physical acts and performances that depict disarming and dynamic situations. Wonder and surprise are essential elements of their work. Both for themselves and for the audience
IMAGE is an acrobatic piece inspired by self-image, in which ladders are not just ladders, but symbols of how we see each other, and where we find each other. Whether it's nervous leaps, chaotic rescues or tender moments, you're taken into the strange world of Lad and Tree. Together, they oscillate between chaos and control. In a playful and risky way, they compete for your attention, your support and your smile.
