On 2 October 2018, journalist Jamal Khashoggi steps into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. He never leaves. In this documentary, director Bryan Fogel reveals the web of deceit and abuse of power behind this murder. 

Fogel gains unprecedented access to the evidence gathered by the Turkish government and talks to those closest to the story: Khashoggi's fiancée Hatice Cengiz, the Turkish police, prosecutors and the young Saudi dissident with whom Khashoggi worked together. Every piece of evidence points to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who goes to great lengths to cover up the case. 

This stunning documentary not only paints the portrait of a man who sacrificed everything in the fight to make his homeland a more just society, but also shockingly illustrates that no one can stand up to the Saudi regime with impunity.
