The Midnight is an American synthwave duo consisting of producer Tim McEwan and singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle. Their music takes you on a nostalgic journey through the 1980s, with a unique blend of electronic beats and melancholic melodies. 

Since their debut in 2014 with the EP Days of Thunder, The Midnight have undergone an impressive evolution. Their albums, such as Endless Summer (2016) and Nocturnal (2017), firmly established them within the synthwave scene. 

Their most recent album Chariot also shows how The Midnight continue to experiment with their sound, combining synthwave with influences from other genres. The album contains both nostalgic and melancholic sounds and new, fresh elements that make their music even more dynamic.
