Since their formation in 1986, The Wolf Banes have stubbornly gone their own way. What started in Lier with a bunch of rebellious musicians grew into one of the most idiosyncratic and beloved bands on the Belgian rock scene. Four decades later, they raise a glass to 40 years of Women and Wine with an already legendary concert at De Roma.
Known for the Belpop classic As The Bottle Runs Dry, the sadly still relevant Mile Away From Here, campfire favourite Fire In The Woods, and garage hit (Shit I Love) Barbara Carrera, The Wolf Banes have distinguished themselves from the very beginning. With their raw energy, playful humour and infectious songs, they built up a loyal fan base in no time. Their reputation as an explosive live band was quickly confirmed by clubs and festivals.
Forty years later, nothing has changed: in 2026, The Wolf Banes are still a well-oiled live machine. In addition to their countless hits, they will also be performing more recent work from their newly released album Sugar Skull, including the single Julienne Brunoise.
