Ciska Ciska is the project of Ciska Dhaenens (25) from Ghent, Belgium, a singer-songwriter with the ability to write powerfully fragile and heavenly songs. With gentle guitar and subtle piano, hushed drumming and a golden voice, Dhaenens draws the listener into her emotional world, where she’s not afraid to show her vulnerable side. The music is often intimate, melancholic and dreamy, occasionally building up or a guitar breaking out.
