For over 25 years, Copenhagen-based musician and producer Trentemøller has been creating unique melodies and lush, unforgettable soundscapes. His music represents a constant flow of themes and ideas, opening a new chapter in his creative journey with each new release. He explores contrasts in his music, using memories, stories and innovative elements.

His debut record The Last Resort from 2006 hit the end-of-year charts of all leading media and paved the way to a wider audience. The latest record Memoria contains more introspective songs with influences from post-punk, dreampop, noiserock and electronica pop. He elaborates on familiar themes such as juxtapositions between light and dark, serenity and chaos, cold and heat (clearly inspired by the climate of the Far North where he lives). Trentemøller has also done remixes for songs by artists such as Tricky, Savages, Depeche Mood, Franz Ferdinand, The Knife, A Place To Bury Strangers, Soft Moon and UNKLE.
