Tsar B & Dijf Sanders Play the Music of TWIN PEAKS

For fans of: David Lynch, Brian Eno, John Carpenter

A creepy atmosphere, bizarre characters, a killer soundtrack and damn good coffee: the multi-award winning experimental series Twin Peaks was a hit immediately at its release on screen in 1990. A large part of the success of Twin Peaks can be attributed to the magnificent music of Angelo Badalamenti (1937 - 2022), who with his score wonderfully managed to immerse the entire series in a disturbing atmosphere. Its Twin Peaks theme won a Grammy in 1990 and, according to The Guardian, there still isn't a TV show with a better soundtrack.

Nearly 35 years after the series' debut, Twin Peaks continues to attract new fans. The cult series is still admired by different generations and is a source of inspiration for many young writers, directors, artists and musicians. As a tribute to David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti, Tsar B and Dijf Sanders hit the studio together to create their own interpretation of the legendary soundtrack. You'll find out what it's like on Saturday October 26 at De Roma!

This production was produced for VIDEODROOM: a festival of the VIERNULVIER Arts Center and Film Fest Gent.
