Bazart is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and is eager to mark the occasion together with its countless fans on the stage of De Roma.
Let’s be honest: Bazart no longer needs an introduction. What started ten years ago as an Antwerp-based project around Mathieu Terryn, Simon Nuytten and Oliver Symons has grown into one of the most influential bands in Dutch-language pop music. Their debut album Echo was an instant hit and firmly put Bazart on the map. The track Goud became one of the biggest Belgian hits of the decade, proving that Bazart could make pop music sound emotional, sincere, and grand at the same time. The album immediately won several MIA Awards. Later came albums such as 2, Onderweg, and the new EXIT, with which the band continued to reinvent itself without losing its distinctive sound.
Songs like Goud, Chaos, Grip (Omarm me) and Denk Maar Niet Aan Morgen have now become modern classics. More recent tracks like Begin Opnieuw and Nacht In Amsterdam also show how Bazart keeps evolving, knowing exactly when to slow down, reflect, and start over.
Anyone who has seen a Bazart show knows this: whether at a festival or in a concert hall, fans are never left wanting more. In recent years, the band has performed at venues such as the AFAS Dome, Lotto Arena and Ancienne Belgique, and headlined festivals like Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Pinkpop. Their concerts effortlessly balance intimacy and grandeur, and continue to resonate long after.
After selling out the Lotto Arena twice, Bazart now wants to continue the celebration with an ultimate birthday concert at De Roma.
