In just a few years, Antwerp-based BLUAI has made its way across Europe. It’s high time to return to their roots with a blazing performance at De Roma. Their biggest headline show to date!
BLUAI’s first songs were written in Catherine Smet’s bedroom, where she started composing at the age of seventeen. Nearly seven years later, in 2021, Mo Govaerts and Caitlin Talbut joined her, officially forming the band. Their breakthrough quickly followed. Within a year, the trio won Belgium’s three major music competitions, including Studio Brussel’s De Nieuwe Lichting. Performances in concert halls and at festivals at home and abroad soon followed: from Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Lokerse Feesten to BST Hyde Park, Lowlands and Live at Leeds.
What began as a promising Belgian newcomer has grown into a band with international airplay and a powerful live reputation. Following their debut album Save It For Later in 2024, they will present their second album this autumn in the beautiful setting of De Roma.
