With his impressive career, Ben Folds, Emmy Award-nominated singer-songwriter and creative force behind Ben Folds Five, has become one of the most versatile artists of his generation. He has released several solo albums and collaborated with Regina Spektor, Nick Hornby and Amanda Palmer, among others. But he is perhaps best known for his collaborations with the world's leading symphony orchestras, including the renowned National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) in the United States.
During his unique Paper Airplane Request Tour, the audience plays an active role. The concert consists of two parts: first a carefully composed set, followed by a second part in which Ben Folds responds to song requests that are literally thrown at him. Audience members write their favourite song on a piece of paper, fold it into a paper aeroplane and throw it towards the stage. It's a fun and interactive experience that makes every concert unique. Don't miss this opportunity to experience an exceptional evening full of creativity, humour and musical virtuosity.
Support
Support is provided by Lindsey Kraft, known from Netflix's Grace and Frankie, HBO's Getting On and Obliterated. Now she brings her own story to the stage. In her one-woman musical, she tells how she learned to play the piano at the age of forty to finally bring the songs in her head to life.
