If there's one band that can't be pigeonholed, it's Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. At Roma, they'll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their legendary album Howl: an ode to the freedom of a life steeped in pure rock'n'roll.

In an age dominated by colourful pop and hip-hop, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club take you on a journey through the history of hard rock. Band members Peter Hayes (vocals, guitar), Robert Levon Been (vocals, bass) and Leah Shapiro (drums) draw on the rich musical history of their homeland. Blues, rock'n'roll, roots, Americana, a touch of pschychedelica, it's all there in the layered songs of this American band.

With Howl (2005), shortly after their debut album B.R.M.C. (2001) and its successor Take Them On, On Your Own (2003), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club immediately highly acclaimed 20 years ago. With their distinctive sound and charismatic live shows, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have quickly become one of the most iconic American rock bands of the last two decades. At the Roma they will present a setlist packed with Howl classics, complemented by new songs.
