The unpredictable British musician Joe Jackson has some wonderful surprises in store for us in 2026. His new album Hope and Fury will be released on 10 April, followed by a major international tour that will include a stop at De Roma. After his masterful concerts in 2024 and 2022, we are delighted to roll out the red carpet once again for this iconic figure in music history.
After his foray into the Music Hall of Edwardian England with his previous project Mr. Joe Jackson presents Max Champion in What A Racket!, Joe Jackson returns to his familiar musical playground with Hope and Fury. He does so in the company of his trusted musicians: bassist Graham Maby, guitarist Teddy Kumpel and drummer Doug Yowell. Newcomer Paulo Stagnaro, a Peruvian percussionist, adds a Latin American flavour to the ensemble.
The result is reminiscent of a cross between Fool (2019), Laughter and Lust (1991) and Night and Day (1982). Like those classics, Hope and Fury is full of catchy melodies, original lyrics, characteristic humour and funky grooves, with vocals and keyboards more powerful than ever.
