Chet Faker is the musical alias of Nicholas Murphy. He is known for his unique blend of soul, electronica and lo-fi pop. He broke through worldwide in 2014 with award-winning debut album “Built On Glass”, which yielded hits such as ‘Talk Is Cheap’, “Gold” and ‘1998’.
After an interlude in which he released music under his name Nick Murphy, he returned to his roots as Chet Faker in 2021 with the album “Hotel Surrender”, full of beats and introspective lyrics. Live, Chet Faker is known for his atmospheric, compelling shows in which he effortlessly switches between intimate and danceable.
