Restless creative, gear enthusiast and producer Dijf Sanders captures sounds from around the globe — grinding, reshaping, and fusing them with modern electronics. Together with longtime collaborator and drummer Simon Segers (Sylvie Kreusch, Black Flower, De Beren Gieren), they push technical boundaries to the max.
The ingenious technical setup of Tangkoa II makes room for a raw, transient and emotional electronic live set where nothing is programmed. Man-machine Segers meets human effect processor Sanders in an unmatched live context that draws from Vietnamese field recordings, Segers’ intuitive drumming and Sanders’ sound machinery.
