After Isolde took her first steps as a solo artist with the EP L'Inconnu (2014) and debut album Cartes Postales (2017), her second album Oh Dear (2023) put her firmly on the musical world map. Fantastic singles such as Douce Mélancolie, Something French and Bed & Breakfast garnered airplay at home and abroad. 

Where Oh Dear enriched her cinematic sound with influences from vintage soundtracks, psychedelia, French seventies and even prog rock, My Kind Of Drama moves further towards electronica and her love for French touch seeps through more emphatically: more synths, unexpected chord progressions and a modern, glossy production, while everything remains poppy, melancholic, cool and arty.
