Anyone who once saw Emmy d'Arc (stage name of Ineke Tiolants) in action immediately understood what she is up to. Emmy grew up with a guitar in her hand. As a little girl, she admired demigods like Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder and Johnny Cash, and great ladies like Sinéad O'Connor. At age 11, she stood on stage for the first time. In 2019, she signed a contract with Universal Music Belgium, after which she released her own EP. Since then, she has been working hard on her first album.

The disarming girl next door is unrecognizable on stage. Each time, she surprises with her full and warm voice and each time, she plays so vigourously on her guitar that the strings pop and her fingertips bleed. Today Emmy already has an important record of performances to her name. She has played as supporting act for Amy Macdonald, Novastar, Daan, Simple Minds, Sting,... radio stations like MNM, Studio Brussel and Nostalgie all spotted her undeniable talent. The 26-year-old Emmy is a perfectionist full of ambition. It is therefore no coincidence that her name is an ode to the unyielding, French heroine Joan of Arc.
