An unnamed man gets lost in a nightmarish loop of white-tiled underground corridors. With Exit 8, director Genki Kawamura delivers a nail-biting puzzle film inspired by the game of the same name, which won numerous awards in its home country of Japan. In Cannes, this live-action game adaptation, the first ever at the prestigious festival, received a standing ovation lasting no less than eight minutes.
