Heather Nova rose to international fame in 1994 with her album Oyster. Hailing from the sun-soaked island of Bermuda, she immediately stood out thanks to her golden voice and quickly built a devoted fan base. Since then, she has developed an impressive career, with numerous critically acclaimed albums and international tours.

What truly sets Heather Nova apart is her exceptional stage presence. Live, she is always at her very best. Whether she commands a major rock festival with a full band or captivates an intimate audience with just her guitar and angelic voice, she consistently leaves a lasting impression. She has already proven this twice at De Roma, with beautiful performances in 2014 and 2025.

Heather Nova’s versatility is also at the heart of her recent work. In February 2025, she released her thirteenth studio album Breath and Air, a warm and richly layered collection of songs where melody, lyrics and arrangements blend seamlessly. Following a sold-out European tour, she released a live double album in March this year, recorded across several nights of the tour. In a stripped-down setting — accompanied only by Midori Jaeger on cello and backing vocals — both her classics and newer songs take on a striking new intensity.
