Miles Kane

After a string of intimate solo performances and a summer full of festival vibes, Miles Kane comes to De Roma with his sixth studio album Sunlight In The Shadows. That record, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, is an explosive mix of glam rock and psychedelia with a touch of soul. Kane himself describes it as the result of a 20-year musical journey and calls it "a record that must be played live."

The new album's title track - Sunlight In The Shadows - is an anthem about hope in hard times and is accompanied by a flamboyant music video by director James Slater (Sam Fender, Jamie T). Kane, dressed in leopard print and full of swagger, performs his new work with a band of top musicians, including members of The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant and Little Barrie. Live, this translates into a sound that balances between raw rock and compelling melodies, with Miles' signature electric guitar and authentic voice as a common thread.

With hits like Come Closer, Don't Forget Who You Are and Rearrange, Miles Kane's influence on British (indie) rock is particularly strong. Besides his collaboration with Alex Turner in The Last Shadow Puppets, he is known for his powerful, uplifting songs that resonate with a wide audience. With his mix of glam rock, indie and garage, Miles Kane brings a sound in line with bands like Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian: energetic, stylish and always with a nod to the past. British rock at its best at De Roma.
