Anyone who saw Roosbeef perform at De Roma three years ago knows that the band led by singer and writer Roos Rebergen has grown into one of the most distinctive voices in Dutch-language music. After a period of reflection, a brand-new album is now ready for release.

Rebergen is widely regarded as one of the most influential songwriters of her generation. Her songs are playful, unsettling, moving and instantly relatable all at once. Across five albums, Roosbeef has built a loyal following in both the Netherlands and Belgium, earning praise from critics, fellow musicians and audiences alike.

In 2024, Roos teamed up with the string quartet SunSunSun Orchestra to release an album featuring classical reinterpretations of her songs. The record, along with a series of sold-out concerts, was met with widespread acclaim.

Meanwhile, she continued working on new material. That process was overshadowed by the passing of band member and friend Tom Pintens, as well as a period during which Rebergen stepped back from public life to focus on her mental health. With Binnensmonds and De Leugen, Roosbeef now announces its sixth studio album. In doing so, Roos Rebergen continues to reinvent herself while never losing the unique voice that defines her work.
