Rumours, 50 years
A Fleetwood Mac Tribute
- i.c.w. De Tijdloze
4 February 2027 will mark the 50th anniversary of the release of Rumours, Fleetwood Mac’s legendary album recorded after the band split up. This masterpiece, which ranks among the best-selling albums of all time, is packed with gems such as 'Go Your Own Way', ‘The Chain’, ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Dreams’. All songs etched into our collective memory.
Ten years ago, Rumours, 40 years – a Fleetwood Mac Tribute toured concert halls across Flanders and the Netherlands. It was a dazzling tour, with packed venues and an ecstatic audience. At the end of that adventure, the project’s initiator, Sara Gilis (Das Pop), deliberately hit the pause button. Under no circumstances was this project to become just another run-of-the-mill tribute band.
Today, the desire to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Rumours in style is stronger than ever. Sara’s musical dream team still features Neeka, Marco Cirone (De Bonanzas), Rob Vanspauwen (Along Comes Mary), David Broeders (Neeka) and the rhythm section of The Sore Losers, Kevin Maenen and Alessio Di Turi. After a ten-year wait, these passionate musicians are eager to take the audience back to 1977. Come and experience an evening filled with timeless classics that bring generations together and continue to inspire artists to this day. It will be the birthday party of the year – not to be missed!
