Australian singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko is one of the most engaging artists down under. Together with her sister, she started singing at a young age in her deeply religious parents' church choir. 

In 2004, she released her legendary debut album The Overture & the Underscore, a rather melancholic record she wrote in Los Angeles while staying in a ‘backpackers hostel’ close to Hollywood Boulevard. 

In 2024, she released her seventh solo album, I Just Need to Conquer This Mountain. On this record, the singer reflects on goodbyes, grief and making a fresh start. She is as versatile as she is prolific and writes songs full of frankness and rare clarity with which she always manages to touch the listener.
