The Swell Season is all the way back. After a limited number of sold-out shows in 2022, followed by a more extensive US tour in 2023, Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová are finally coming to Europe. Anyone who was at Glen Hansard's amazing solo concert at De Roma in 2016 knows it will be a great new show.

Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard first became known thanks to their roles in the 2007 film Once. A year later, they won the Academy Award for Best Original Song with their 2008 composition Falling Slowly. It became the start of a unique project that won worldwide acclaim under the name The Swell Season. Irglová and Hansard released the acclaimed album Strict Joy and toured the world together before embarking on a solo career.

In 2012, Once, The Musical premiered. It was the beginning of an immense success that took the duo's career in a new direction. Once, The Musical won eight Tonys, including the one for Best Musical, and was on Broadway for more than three years.

Meanwhile, Markéta Irglová released three studio albums. Her most recent record, LILA, reflects her evolution from ‘Girl from a Movie’ to wife, mother and beloved artist. Hansard's solo career also took off. With All That Was East Is West Of Me Now, he released his fifth studio album in 2023. He previously toured with Eddie Vedder's Earthlings band and featured on the Flag Day soundtrack alongside Eddie Vedder and Cat Power.
