The Zac Schulze Gang

The Zac Schulze Gang aren’t ones for frills: their debut album *Straight To It* does exactly what the title promises. The power trio deliver raw, blues-soaked rock ’n’ roll that grabs you by the throat straight away. They proved this in March 2026 at De Roma when they won over the audience with a fiery set as support for Samantha Fish. The response was so overwhelming that a year later, in March 2027, they’re back on stage in Borgerhout: this time as the headline act.

Frontman and guitarist Zac Schulze may be a virtuoso musician, but it’s the collective energy of The Zac Schulze Gang that makes the band so irresistible. Zac, his brother and drummer Ben, and bassist Ant Greenwell produce such a massive, electrically charged sound that every song seems to blast out of the speakers like a high-speed train.

The story of The Zac Schulze Gang began in Gillingham, Kent, where the three blood brothers gained experience on the UK punk circuit. During the pandemic, Zac stumbled upon a YouTube clip of Rory Gallagher: a revelation that definitively set the band’s direction. Two years later, they played at Gallagher’s Tribute Festival, a performance that catapulted them onto the British blues scene. Since then, they have become true road warriors, playing over 250 gigs a year and touring across Europe. Thanks to that tireless drive and releases such as Made of Three and Live and Loud, the band won the UK Blues Award for Best Emerging Blues Band in 2024.
