Lou Roman is an essential musician in the music world. At a young age, it was clear that music was in his blood. At the age of sixteen, he founded his first orchestra: the Lou Roman Band. The start of a rich career. For fifty years, the Lou Roman Band has been offering top quality music, both in Belgium and abroad.

With the Een Gouden Jubileum show on the occasion of this golden jubilee, Gene Bervoets, Els Dottermans, Marcel Vanthilt and of course the Lou Roman Band themselves will take you on a musical journey full of nostalgia. What were the opening dances fifty years ago? And which are today? What were the best and worst dance songs half a century ago? And how is it going today? Which songs were played to announce the end of a party? Is there a big difference from today?

We will discover it during the Een Gouden Jubileum show. We'll experience it all with the beautiful and often catchy music of yesterday and today.
