Silently Held is the new album by singer Chantal Acda. For both the recordings and the live tour, she collaborates with seven talented jazz musicians, who call themselves The Atlantic Drifters for the occasion. The release follows Chantal's previous musical adventures, including Let Your Hands be My Guide (2013), The Sparkle in Our Flaws (2015), Bounce Back (2017), Puwawau (2019) and Saturday Moon (2021). Each album has resonated worldwide.

With her music, Chantal reveals a raw and authentic representation of vulnerability, where every flaw and feeling is held close. The album becomes a haven, inviting listeners to participate in this quiet communion with the subtleties of the human experience. The album Silently Held was released on May 3, 2024 and has already received many favourable reviews. “The sober and understated approach fits perfectly with the whispered recitation of Chantal Acda, who gently strolls across this soft carpet of sound, taking the listener into her vulnerable story of letting go and moving on again.” we read on the site Dansende Beren. “I can already see her stepping aside during some of the longer tracks and sitting on the side silently, with her eyes closed, enjoying being allowed to be a part of this. For the performance of this project, Chantal Acda will be joined live by an impressive Belgian-American septet.
