Wherever Jeff Tweedy comes, he manages to silence his audiences, both in concert halls and on festival grounds. Six years ago, he enchanted a sold-out De Roma with a magical Wilco concert. As frontman and guitarist of that remarkable band, he built a loyal audience worldwide. But even before his career with Wilco, Tweedy was already a celebrated and influential artist. For instance, he co-founded the influential alt-country band Uncle Tupelo, laying the foundation for what would later become known as alt-country.
Tweedy is known for his prolific songwriting and his ability to innovate again and again both with Wilco and with his solo projects and other collaborations (such as Golden Smog and Loose Fur). In addition to his musical career, he also writes books. Like his songs, his work is characterised by honesty, poetic lyrics and a unique blend of introspection and humour.
De Roma is gearing up for a wonderful evening with Jeff Tweedy's solo project. Don't miss this intimate evening with one of the most esteemed songwriters of our time!
