Jonas ‘Jokke’ Van Langendonck is a born storyteller who shares the wisdom of his young life in a subdued and metaphorical way with anyone who wants to hear it. Like many a teenager, he took his first musical steps in the local hip-hop scene. After all, that was the musical art form that was omnipresent - including and especially in his neighbourhood - and thus a logical first career step. 

A final place at Nieuwe Lichting contest gave him confidence and a clear goal for the Leuven singer-songwriter: to become a singer. Since then, he has been working every day to fully develop his characterful voice. Today, Jokke's music is closer to kleinkunst, with stories about nearly anything brought with a lot of rhythm, melody and hip-hop influences. 

Where kleinkunst is often socially critical, Jokke talks more about the everyday problems of our current society. With his stories and music, Jokke hopes to inspire people for theur own lives. After all that is the best thing you can do as a musician.
